1250 HOURS

Jolie Barbering Academy was established as a division of Jolie Hair and Beauty Academy of Hazleton.

Pennsylvania State Board of Barbering mandates that barbering students receive 1250 hours in theory and practical experience. The barbering program is a 10-month day program or a 20-month evening program of instruction.

The objective of the program is to educate the student in the required subjects necessary to successfully pass the State of Pennsylvania exam. The student is equipped and tested for related cognitive and practical skills. The curriculum also includes current trends and methods for shop employment.

This program is not eligible for Title IV financial aid.
